Courtesy Visit of President Bio

Today, His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio, President of Sierra Leone, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Prithvirajsing Roopun, President of Mauritius, at the State House.

This visit is part of President Bio’s official trip to Mauritius, where he is also attending the African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year Awards 2023, being held at the Intercontinental Resort Balaclava Fort.

During the visit, both leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Mauritius and Sierra Leone, focusing on opportunities for collaboration in various sectors. President Roopun commended President Bio for his efforts in enhancing education in Sierra Leone, while President Bio praised Mauritius’s development progress and shared his insights on fostering mutual growth.

This courtesy visit highlights the deepening ties between the two nations and sets the stage for future partnerships aimed at addressing shared challenges and creating opportunities for advancement across Africa.
